Instructors for classes, activities and social dancing sessions are all professional instructors selected by our Project Director, Karelia Despaigne.  They work independently or with dance companies and schools such as Tierra Kaliente, JJ, Ban Rarra, and Conjunto Folklorico.

Instructors are recommended for your program based on your interests and experience.  Requests to work with specific instructors can be accommodated based on availability.

We recommend staying in a Casa Particular to most travelers.  This allows you more opportunities to experience daily life in Cuba, supports locals, and is often a better value and more comfortable than a mid-range hotel.

That said, we can make arrangements for hostels, guest houses, independent apartments, and standard to boutique high-end hotels depending on your preferences.  All of the accommodations we book are places that we have seen in person.

Our Standard

Because this is your vacation, our standard Casa is a step up from basic.  They are modernized rooms where you can expect to have hot water, decent water pressure, air conditioning, at least one window, and an en suite or private bathroom.  Many have either a balcony or a terrace for guest use and offer breakfast and a few services for additional fees.
